Pin cushion

Over the weekend I tried my hand at making a pin cushion using a mason jar.  My mom saw the article in a magazine.  Of course due to all the stick pins I’ve been making (Thanks to Lora)….I had to make a few.  :)  The great thing is, it's two in one....pin cushion on top and then place ribbon, buttons or any other goodies in the jar.

    Yeah having the points on the pins make it a little easier, but it works with the other pins as well.

  3. Cute idea! I've been looking at boxes and tins trying to find one that I like to make a pin cushion on the top to hold my stick pins and then store my handmade flowers inside. Your jar idea is really cute...never thought of that! Congrats on your new blog. Hope you enjoy it and be sure to post a lot so we all can see your creations!
